What you get with your box of chocolates -
You get a full menu with each tasting box, giving you the names of the chocolate's designers as well as information on the techniques and what goes into them.
They give you hints on how to enjoy the chocolates to get the most from them - for example some chocolates may be best served from the fridge.
The chocolates are scored on a special sheet which is provided. This information
gets sent back and collated for use in each month's Chocolate News. Your
scores and comments are important!
There are two sections to the club now. The classic and the dark chocolates. If you're a dark chocolate fan then you'll love that club which features only dark chocolates.
In the classic club you'll get everything - dark, milk and white; ganaches, pralines, truffles, manons; pure and whole enrobed fruits, spirits and wines! Every sort of chocolate imaginable, the latest most interesting ones that Angus Thirwell and his team can find for you.
Each box of chocolates sent to you as part of the Chocolate Tasting Club contains pairs of chocolates. This allows you to either share the scoring with a loved one, or to have two trys at each one! It is incredibly good fun to do the chocolate tasting with a friend and you can write down your comments for each other as you enjoy the delicious chocolates.
You can stay a member of the club for as long or short a time as you like. There's no obligation to have a tasting box each month, but you'll find that you are drawn to them and will definately enjoy the tasting you do.
